I so need to visit the dentist. Last night, I was eating some chips covered with Girl from Florida’s awesome Buffalo chicken cheddar dip, and I think that part of a chip got lodged in a hole that I have in one of my back teeth (top right). Yes, I have a hole in one of my teeth. Part of the tooth chipped off, either from decay or from a sharp food that I ate (probably chips, LOL!). Anyway, it hasn’t really given me much trouble, but last night it started aching. Badly. Jeff bought me some ibuprofen and Orajel, and that helped immensely. It still aches this morning, but it’s not nearly as bad as before. Oh man, I need to telephone the dentist ASAP tomorrow. :(

I’ve had a head cold for the past week, too. I’ve basically been living on hot tea with honey. This morning, though, I’m enjoying some decaf hazelnut cream coffee ~ delicious! There’s a breakfast today at the church where our kids attend preschool, and I’ve been looking forward to going, but part of me wonders whether I should just stay home and try to get some rest.

Knitted washcloths and matching soaps
I finished an Etsy order the other day ~ nine washcloths with matching soaps. Easy and so much fun. I’m also done with knitting the back of Meredith’s sweater ~ although it doesn’t seem long enough for her torso. I guess I’ll see how it looks when it’s finished. I’m working on the front now. The armhole shaping gave me some problems at first, but now I think that I understand what I’m supposed to do.

Anyone excited about the Winter Olympics? I can’t wait! :)

I *love* watching the winter olympics (our country RARELY has any competitors – as we only have light dustings of snow) and although we have an ice hockey team, they aren’t that good :)

I still love watching it tho, I totally think that when i was younger I would have rocked at speed skating!

Soooo Sorry about your tooth. Hope that you can get in tomorrow to get it fixed.

Love your soaps and washcloths….so pretty. I’m sure the lady who ordered them will be pleased. Will give you a call tomorrow or so to see how you are feeling.

PS Love the Winter Ol’s, too! But first things first….gotta wait until we BEAT THE JETS this afternoon, then Super Bowl, THEN the WOs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Too funny- I made that dip yesterday, too! Great minds :)

I hope your tooth feels better! I hate going to the dentist and put it off as long as possible, ughh. Then I’m always happy it’s over, though :)

Bleck, I have to go to the dentist this week too and I’m afraid they’re going to tell me I have a cavity. I’m about due for one.

Well, if you didn’t know it, I am an Olympics fiend. I used to only religiously watch the winter ones, but since I really started loving swimming I started watching the summer games as well. The last go round I dvr’d hours and hours of the games and watched every single minute of the whole thing! I am preparing my dvr as I speak to have as much free space as possible. It’s going to rock!!!

I am looking forward to the winter Olympics too.
