Location, location, location

Lucas turns five (FIVE!!!) in March, and we’re searching for somewhere great to have his birthday party. Why not here at home? Well, we could … but there are 14 other students in his preschool class. And while I’m sure that not all of them will be able to make it, that’s a lot of kids to have in one home! (This will be his first preschool friends-only party.)
We love Imaguration, but unfortunately it’s closing on February 14th. I checked into renting the large room in our local fire station, but it’s $400! (You get the $100 deposit back, but still …) Our town hall doesn’t rent for special occasions. The fellowship hall in the church where the kids attend preschool is $150 for 25 or fewer people, which sounds fine to me ~ but you also have to take out insurance through your homeowner’s policy! There’s our town’s train station, but the parking and bathroom situation isn’t great there. Someone told us about another church in the area that rents its fellowship hall for $25, but I’m not sure what it looks like and what that includes (need to check). We have a great playground in our town, but who knows what the weather will be like on March 20th?
Jeff suggested Jeepers in Albany (where we attended a classmate’s birthday party last year) or a bowling alley. But it’s a “Star Wars” birthday party. (Why can’t there be a planetarium or something similar in our county?) Plus, those locations were pretty chaotic, and I don’t deal with that well. I suppose that if we had the party at our house, we could have all the food downstairs and then hold the party in our bonus room (it’s a good size ~ 24′x24′). That way, guests would be upstairs and downstairs and not all crowded into one room at one time.
What to do? We’ve never had one of the kids’ parties elsewhere, so it’ll be very different. At least we pretty much have the menu figured out!

Good luck! We have never had a friend party for NHL yet. NHL has asked for one this year. With an August birthday getting friends together is tough. I think we are going to do bowling in June since we can invite all 18 kids in his class. Jeepers is SO expensive and can be chaotic. The other idea we have is indoor mini-golf, but not sure about the price with that many kids. Good luck!

Wow… that’s a lot of kids. I lucked out and Mike never wanted a whole bunch of kids at a party. We did have one at the local bowling alley that was a lot of fun and only around $8.00 a kid which included shoe rental and 3 games of bowling, 2 pieces of pizza and a soda. We had to supply the cake. Mike only invited 5 kids so it was a nice size party and the price was great. For $150 you can get a LOT of pizza and make a lot of “planet” cupcakes and do games in your bonus room. (pin the space ship on the planet! I’m sure other games could be converted to space or starwars theme, hang planets and stars from the ceiling… etc)

I realy like your distinguished article! Could you create the essay topic for example? Because I do really know that a professional essay writing service could write essays of good enough quality.
