I hope they don’t mind me sharing

Filed under: cool links, faith, family, friends, fun, home, indiana, new york, photography, special, traveling .When Jeff and I moved to New York in June 2000, we lived in a great apartment complex. That first day, when we were moving all of our stuff into our new place, we met our next-door neighbors: Vicky and Natalie. (Well, they lived kind of across from us and upstairs, actually!) We had no idea that we would end up becoming such close friends with them. They are like family to us! And recently, during Vicky and Natalie’s trip to the Midwest, they stopped by my parents’ house in Columbus, IN, to visit! It was so funny seeing pictures of Vicky and Natalie in my hometown! :) I thought that I would share some neat photos that they took:
Here’s the arch sculpture by Henry Moore that stands in my hometown’s library plaza. That’s the First Christian Church in the background:

My parents also took them to Columbus’s visitor’s center, which houses some amazing artwork by Dale Chihuly. My mom sells some of her handmade baskets in the gift shop (and I even sold some of my handmade bath products there many years ago):

Here’s Irwin Gardens. Such a beautiful, tranquil spot. I remember my dad and I walking through the gardens, and I especially loved seeing all the herbs (and smelling them!). Now, the home has been turned into an inn:

And finally, here’s my dad and my parents’ cat, Mrs. Mertz. (Can you tell that my parents are “I Love Lucy” fans?) :)

It sounds like Vicky and Natalie and my parents had a great time, and I’m looking forward to our Indiana trip next month! :)

Great photos! I adore Dale Chihuly. Fell in love with the artwork that is housed at the Bellagio in the lobby. So sad that a lot of our photos from that trip were stolen from our camera on the way home. So many gorgeous photos of Chihuly’s work were on the one camera.

All people deserve good life time and business loans or just short term loan will make it much better. Because freedom is based on money.
