Greetings, everyone. I sincerely apologize for not updating my blog in quite some time. I now mainly use this space for paid blogging, but I plan to still write actual blog posts from time to time (when I can). It’s amazing how blogging has seemed to fall by the wayside now that Facebook is around. A friend has converted her blog to the “Notes” section of Facebook … hmm, that’s something that I may consider.
I can’t believe our weather this winter. Most everyone I know is complaining that “there’s no snow”; however, I’m absolutely *loving* the warmer temperatures! (We used to have an outdoor thermometer, but unfortunately it broke. It would be great to buy a new one … I’m kind of a weather junkie.) Today’s high was about 42. Love that. I’ll admit, though, that last year it was lots of fun watching our kids sled down the hill in our front yard. And snow is gorgeous when I can sit inside and watch it fall! :)
I’m off work this week, and our kids don’t have school. I’m attending a funeral Mass on Tuesday and helping with the reception at church afterward. Wednesday is Ash Wednesday Mass in the morning, then a playdate for our kids at a way-cool bounce place that afternoon. I also plan to take our kids to our local historical society for some neat-sounding workshops (arts and crafts combined with history lessons). I hope to get some stuff done around the house and catch up on some rest, too.
